Yeah, I have noticed color variances and parts added without ever being pointed out. Some manuals have all the parts indicated for a step and that helps. but others don't. Sometimes I am paging back two to five steps just to find where a part was put on so I didn't miss anything else.

The biggest difficulty I've found is figuring out if it's dark gray or black. Those two have been the worst so far. I do hate flipping back, and have had to do it more then once. Espc one time when my wife and I were racing to build two of the same set...
