Red-tailed Hawk eating Black Duck

After 3 years of watching, I finally got to capture why this bird hangs out here. My camera was at home, but I was able to scare up a D200 w/ 200-400 f4 for these shots. At only 30 or so feet away. w00t!

Terrible pictures of a Ross’ Goose

Normally, I only post my good photos, but this bird is not supposed to be around here… This Ross’ Goose is hangin out with these Canada Geese. Not sure why. It has however caused a ruckus in the birding community.
