I don't understand it either. By the time I wrote this though, I was so ready for the whole thing just to be over, that I didn't really have a lot to say.

Looks like the only way I can get a grip that does what I want would be to upgrade camera bodies, which is not something that can be done any time soon. I still have a few pieces of glass I would like to get as well as a wife starting her unpaid internship next year. Doh!

1. Son of a B! Damn! I was hoping this story would have a happier ending. What a crummy situation.

2. Why is there no comment here from the Adorama Ambassador*?

3. This is a large mistake on Targus' part. Someone messed up! Also, I noticed that the TG-BGD40 is not available on their website. Interesting...

4. Why is the TG-BGD40 still listed incorrectly on the two retailers websites? Unless you are the only person to ever order the TG-BGD40 and not notify each retailer of the mix up, you would think that they would have at least made the items temporarily unavailable to order. It blows my mind that the items are still for sale on adorama and Wal*Mart's website.

5. This would be an excellent thread to start on any Nikon and Nikon D40 groups on Flickr.

6. Also, maybe a larger photo blog could pick up this story? There are so many out there that I couldn't suggest just one. It might take twenty minutes of your time to gather up some email addresses, write a brief, and then direct them to both here and Flickr. Consumers need to know about this!

* I'd actually like to know what skills and knowledge are needed for this job. I'm interested in applying. ;)
